How do you deposit money into your Bank of America checking account?

You have deposit slips behind your checks. Please use them because if you don’t the teller may encode the wrong acct #. When you slide your atm card through, it shows the teller all your account information.
You can also deposit thru the atm without a deposit slip.

Within most BOA branches, each teller has a keypad next to it. Bank of America asks each customer to swipe either their ATM card or their drivers license in order for the Teller to access your accounts and to verify that it is the account owner (or joint owner). Once you swipe the card, they can then take your deposit (w/slip although I’ve noticed not all Tellers require it now) and process your deposit into your account.
If the branch is not open, you can use the ATM machine. Note that BOA has upgraded their ATM programs at most ATM machines in California. Now you no longer need deposit slips or envelopes (if doing a cash deposit). In fact, you can get a copy of the check image at the ATM machine at the time of deposit which I have found handy. For cash deposits, it will categorize by bill size how much your total deposit is. I love the receipt when I do a cash deposit as it tells me exactly how much I put in by denomination.
Just make sure the ATM is marked for all transactions. I recently noticed that some machines are set for specific set of transactions or languages. You can see this at the top of the machine (at least at one of my main branches I use I’ve noticed this.) so maybe not all machines are equal at present.
I would check with the Bank Branch customer service if you’re not sure.
